Edit: The current state of our home media systems as of January 2022:
No change to the audio hardware, but my old Surface 3 has been sold and replaced by a Surface Go 2, and a Fritz!WLAN 1200 repeater has been placed in the roon where Monet2 lives to ensure that it is connected via the 5GHz network at all times.
Also dropped Domoticz in favour of Home Assistant for our home automation system. Home Assistant continues to impress me.
