Yeah, glad to be back. Some fine people around the globe made it possible with their donations.
If you eventually tune in: Feel The Love!
might take couple of days before the server guys resurrect the other streams
@Erik_Jego has worked some magic and produced a new 192k hires stream for Superstereo 1
that includes metadata.
Thank you Erik.
Station Intense Radio
has introduced metadata into its flac stream in a way that causes Roon to stop at the end of each track. I have unlisted the flac stream for now but if you want to listen anyway then add
https://secure.live-streams.nl/flac.flac
to your my live radio
Lucifer
appears dead. Has been so for 5 days and site not up. Unlisting it.
City Radio
flac stream has not been working for 6 days and website seems not working properly, if not actually dead.
Unlisting for now.
The flac streams for
Rondo Classic - Klasu Pro
and
Rondo Klasu
have each been off air for 5 days. The mp3 streams are OK.
I’ve unlisted the flac streams for now.
I’ve sent e-mails to City Radio Chile and Rondo Classic.
The flac streams for following stations have not been working for 6 days. Unlisting those streams.
CN'O
Fréquence3 - Dance
Fréquence3 - World
Fréquence3 - Gold
Fréquence3 - Urban
E-mail sent to them.
Fréquence3 - Urban
is back
And the remaining Fréquence3
stations are back.
Has there been any update on the remaining SuperStereo stations. They still only play a track and then stop.
Hello @Oliver_Meyer , I’m trying to find out what’s changed. They used to work.
(The underlying issue is one that the Roon Devs are aware of)
I retested SuperStereo 1-7 FLAC radio using Lumin native FLAC radio playback. All except the first has end-of-stream flags inside the stream, which Roon cannot handle.
SuperStereo will require payment starting next month (I think) anyway.
Stations 1 3 4 and 5 now play without stopping again. (Thank you @Erik_Jego ). Also Superstereo will no longer be going to a payment system next month.
Uh-oh. Metadata has returned on those superstereo channels.
Superstereo have confirmed that their service will continue providing metadata as most (non-Roon) users want it.
As Roon cannot play more than one track without stopping, their streams will be removed from the live-radio database.
SuperStereo 1 - Yacht Rock
has a 192k stream which is unaffected by this and will remain.
If users nevertheless want to add streams themselves to their my-live-radio, these are
SuperStereo 1 - Yacht Rock
(96k stream) http://198.204.228.202:8160/flac
SuperStereo 2 - 50’s, 60’s
http://198.204.228.202:8157/flac
SuperStereo 3 - Pop & Disco
http://198.204.228.202:8539/flac
SuperStereo 4 - Ballads 80’s,90’s,00’s
http://198.204.228.202:8030/flac
SuperStereo 5 - Adult Rock
http://198.204.228.202:8511/canal1
SuperStereo 6 - Instrumental
http://198.204.228.202:8157/flac6
SuperStereo 7 - Jazz
http://198.204.228.202:8030/flac7
The Roon Devs have been informed.
Superstereo have provided some streams which do not contain metadata (thank you @Erik_Jego) and so not stop at the of each track. Thus
SuperStereo 1 - Yacht Rock
SuperStereo 3 - Pop & Disco
SuperStereo 4 - Ballads 80’s,90’s,00’s
now have cd quality streams again and appear in the database.
(Because of the efforts of @alec_eiffel , these streams will nevertheless show metadata in Roon)
