Strangely, the only concert Iāve been to in 30 plus years was a direct result of randomly finding concert information on the artist page.

Audio, video and some concerts in real time, (For example I watched the Dead & Company tours on Nugs.) They also sell some concerts they stream on DVD / FLAC (again Dead & Company )
Well, nugs.net does audio and video, but I think the question was what Roon would do with it.

What I meant wasāif nugs.net is integrated into Roon, will we only (probably) be able to stream concert audio like the way we do with Tidal and Qobuz , or will Roon also support video playback? Could it perhaps sync with the TV like it does with the lyrics view, allowing us to watch concert footage on the big screen while streaming audio to a selected Zone?

Like others so many great concerts in my life. In the Jazz space ,Wynton Marsalis whom I met in person after the concert and have a photo with him. Also Jimmy Smith (organ) in Chicago at the Jazz Showcase and spoke with him outside. I love the organ both Jazz and Classical.

I think adding Nugs is brilliant since it is a unique service not directly competing with Qobuz or Tidal. Sure, it will be one more monthly fee to pay for, but if they can integrate it with a video feed as well, it may just make it worth the added cost.

I see youāre working on something almost no one ever ask about, meanwhile we still canāt process box set properly. (Different name per album, different covers, etc, etc). A request that has been around for a decade and ask by a lot of people.

The feature was requested by some folks back in 2020, not that many, but itās good to have that feeling that your request is being fulfilled. Itās always good to see more features being added. I have no interest in Nugs.net, but would surely love for the box set process to be addressed. Had a terrible time getting the last Deep Purple (Made in Japan) box set right.

Box set handling is most likely orders of magnitude more complex than nugs integration, itās pointless to play them off against each other. Most likely not the same developers who are familiar with the respective subsystems as well.

If one of Roonās main attractions is managing and integrating āDigital Filesā and streaming services, I believe the Box Set issue should be of great importance, and should be tackled and fixed. Nevertheless, Iāll be waiting patiently for this feature, and happy for others for this new feature.

I didnāt say it shouldnāt, and as you probably know improvements were promised. However it definitely is a hard problem as the metadata doesnāt exist and there are probably many other complications. Thatās why I was agreeing with you that itās nice to get a new feature even if another one takes longer.

Sorry if it sounded like a direct response to you. My aim was to reach the Roon Lab developersā eyes. Frankly, the main purpose of my lifetime subscription to Roon Labs is to manage my āDigital Filesā, and the streaming integration at a long second. Hence, my passion for the box set issue to be corrected.
