Something big - maintain the app

How about working on the many open roadworks in Roon? That would be something big. Before (!) opening another roadwork.

  • • search - was a big thing years ago. „We work constantly on improvements. It will become the best search function ever.“ And then - stopped working. The search-function remains mediocre (the main reason my Family refuses Roon).
  • • Tidal>>Explore>>Jazz>>New tracks. They are of 2019 !!! If it doesn‘t work - leave it out.
  • • Tidal >> what’s new << was 6 month out of service.

the excuse/alibi that Tidal changed the api and other apps have the same problems with Tidal is a nonpology. Add a remark at non functional areas to let us know that you are not ignorant. And if there is no solution after a certain time - delete the function. Come on - 2019!

  • • Home: the recommendation >performing the music of< and >collaborators< is freezed/the same since summer 25

—> there are so many (little) things indicating that there is either listlessness or overburdening. Don‘t you use Roon yourself?

Something big - use ROON yourself and understand.

Happening:

Tidal > Explore > Jazz seems still stale (it seems up to 2019 for me, too, using this new Early Access build). I’ll report that in EA. (Edit: B1600: Tidal cleanup feedback)

Remains the interrupted work on the search-function.

Yeah, it’s a mystery. I have also moved your thread to Feedback to ensure Roon Labs sees it. (They don’t regularly read Roon Software Discussion and they stated that everything in Feedback is read, although they usually don’t reply)
