Song Option Flags

I have two ideas that would improve my Roon experience.

The first would have a start or end time (or both) for a track. I would use this to edit out introductions and other talking in live tracks.

The second would be a flag to skip tracks in an album when the album is played. I have a lot of jazz releases with alternate tracks. I want to keep them but usual prefer to play the album as released.

You can dislike tracks with a couple of clicks on the heart.

What is the effect in Roon of banning an album?

A banned album or track will never be played as part of a larger unit of playback (artist, radio, “all”, genre, …). You must select it for playback directly in order to hear it. There is no affect on search or other browsing functionality–banning purely relates to playback.

Thanks, didn’t know about the banned flag, it’s perfect.

That leaves the track start and stops times. It would also be great if these could be read from iTunes data to cut down on the setup time.
