The Mytek Stereo192-DSD DAC and Manhattan DAC (original design) were ahead of their time providing high sample rate PCM and DSD support at a low price. The DACs are still very popular and naturally, we wanted to support them via USB on the Rendu series. Support for the DACs on Sonicorbiter has been a real struggle to maintain and over the various version they stopped working. Since we are not able to support the DACs in Sonicorbiter 2.8 we came up with a special version called Sonicorbiter 2.5 Mytek edition. This version of Sonicorbiter has a current version of RoonReady while some of the other apps remain dated and may not work properly. Please note Mytek DACs based on XMOS USB work on all version of Sonicorbiter.
