Spotify Connect not connecting to RopieeeXL

Having issues using Spotify Connect.

When I click on one of my RPi endpoints in Spotify, it shows it trying to connect then reverts back to previous selection. With that said, I can connect to all of my endpoints through Airplay on Spotify.

Audio hats are Hifiberry Amp2 - this is selected in General tab. In RoPieeeXL tab, I have tried Auto and Hat as the Audio output with the same result - no connection.

RoPieeeXL software is up to date and there are zero issues with Roon.

What am I missing? Advice would be appreciated!

So few things:

  1. can you provide feedback? Then I can have a look in the logs.
  2. are you sure this isn’t a firewall issue? There were more people having issues with that in combination with Spotify.
