Squeezelite vs Roon End Point

Roon Support Team - Is there any difference in SQ for squeezelite end point vs a RoonReady point when configured on a microrendu?
Am I giving up functionality in Roon to not change this from Squeezelite to a RoonReady end point?

Does the 1.4 upgrade also improve squeezlite SQ?
