Hi all,

I’ve pushed out yet another stable release.

Nothing fancy, just some updates all over the place (mostly XL).

As this release brings a kernel update, the update won’t be pushed automatically but shows a notification in the web interface.

Here’s the changelog:

  • IMPROV: [RoPieeeXL] update Shairport-Sync (Airplay)
  • IMPROV: [RoPieeeXL] update Squeezelite (Squeezebox)
  • IMPROV: [RoPieeeXL] update Librespot (Spotify)
  • FIX: [RoPieeeXL] can not stream with UPNP/DLNA
  • FIX: [RoPieeeXL] initial UPNP/DLNA volume is distorted
  • IMPROV: bump Linux kernel for Pi 4
  • IMPROV: bump Linux kernel for Pi 3

For some reason, Jriver no longer sees RoPieeeXL after this update. Not sure what is going on.

There’s an issue with the DLNA component. Working on it…
