Still no bookmarks on Arc?

Hello there

I am a huge user of bookmarks. One I particularly like is “remaining songs”, it plays all the songs I’ve never played. It’s dynamic unlike playlists. I don’t like playlists.

Is there a way to implement bookmarks in Arc?

If I use a playlist, I need to create a new one every time I like or add a new song to my library.

Most bookmarks can now be converted into “smart playlists,” which is a relatively new feature of Roon that is also supported by ARC. These smart playlists are just as dynamic as bookmarks.

Sorry but I disagree here a bookmark is focus of which you can then choose one or more items to play, change the order easier navigate using a filter. A smart playlist is just a playlist and made of tracks not albums which a bookmark can be. It may change in content but it’s a playlist it’s poor to navigate especially on a phone, can’t change the order either. It’s no substitute for bookmarks.

Just made one and it’s rubbish for what I use bookmarks for.

I agree with this… I’m trying to address the original poster’s need, which I think can be accomplished with smart playlists for now.

Thanks for your replies. Not sure if smart playlists can be a workaround, here. I will try.

Anyone could also explain why we don’t have bookmarks in Arc, yet?

Just asking again @support: can bookmarks be implemented in ARC?
