Hi.
I get this signal path with last version of ropieee (2022.05.1 (0299)) and my iFi ZEN DAC v2
Looks like zen dac doesn’t send decoding info to roon.
But, there are no problems with the old version (4.017 stable)
(hardware is Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.4)
In both cases zen dac changes its color.
Is there somesing with drivers?
Please help )
PS: I cat test other versions if you want.
It’s just cosmetics, I guess, don’t loose sleep over it until it possibly gets displayed again in a future version…
I need this cosmetics, like everything else that is in Room. Without correct path I don’t see Enhanced mode, it’s sad…
You can try restarting the iFi device. My Teac didn’t always feed back what it did (upsampling to DSD). It did again after a restart.
Yes, I tried to restart and other ways. Doesn’t help. On version 4.017 all fine.
I tried to install clean Roon Bridge to Ubuntu 20.04 32bit.
The result is the same: DAC changes colors, but Roon doesn’t see correct signal path.
It’s a pity…
Switched to VitOS https://www.silent-angel-audio.com/vitos-for-rpi4
It doesn’t have wifi by default, but I solved with ssh. All roon features are work
