Describe the issue

Hello, I am stuck installing ROCK on my NUC12WSH.

It is a NUC12WSH with i5 processor 16GB RAM and 500GB Transcend M.2 SSD.

I have completed the BIOS setup (as far as I know) and then have flashed a USB drive as instructed.

I thought I was at the codec steps however I cant seem to get to the ROCK user interface.

First of all the system is looking for a network connection which it finds, the system is hardwired. Then goes to a screen which doesn't seem to lead anywhere. I can type into the screen but nothing happens.

All that I can seem to do from here is restart. Thanks for your help!

there is no user graphic interface on a ROCK install. It is only a limited command line. The screen is set to show you the IP number the PC has received and that is about it.

@Christopher_Rushton In other words, you have to use a browser and surf to the IP-address you can see on the screen. From there on you should be able to put the codecs, …

This may help -
John explains in a video (sometimes people work better with visual aids).

(it’s time stamped to the part you need)

And obviously the guide which I’m sure you’re using

You want the part from 5. Installing onwards.

Well actually, you need to use a PCs file manager and go to the file system and copy the codec in the location as detailed in the setup instructions.
