Suggestions based on listening history

Been running Roon + Tidal for a bit. Tidal and other music services have good suggestions based on listening history. As I use Roon (primarily via ARC at work), I (should be?) generating a pretty rich metadata profile of listening preferences. Time of day, songs I skip, playlists I hit again and again (Tidal based playlists accessible via Roon).

I’d like to see more fresh recommendations on n my Roon ARC homepage.

The stuff “above the fold” in the app are: Recently played/added, and New Releases for you albums/singles. The New Releases has been really stale actually. Very little movement at all. Practically unchanging over weeks.

Below that are Your Daily Mixes, which seems like the place for this stuff, but I dunno, there’s something about them that doesn’t grab me. It looks more like a random artist may have listened to during the last X weeks that’s a “start radio based on ” kind of feel instead of an actual mix of stuff I might like.

If it were Mixes for Me, I’d like to see:
“High energy work out tunes”
Jazz
Chillhop drone
Inspired by Yellowstone and Chris Stapleton (an oddball suggestion of bands I’ve been grooving on the last several days: SteelDrivers, Trampled by Turtles, Christ Stapleton, Dead South, Waybacks etc)

I’m into the Playlists by Roon section. That’s about two screen scrolls down.

Genre for you seems relevant and mirrors my latest hits, there’s that Alt-country stuff, Alternative rap and Americana.

However! The last two things are Performing the Music of, and Collaborators. Those two things have been unchanged for months I think.

To to sum up: I’d like to see better suggestion engines. I’d like it above the fold, and I’d like default settings to be more lively changing and responsive to my whims. Too much to ask? Ha!
