Support for Vox Loop

It would be great to add support for Vox Loop. As such one can have the entire music library safe in the cloud and still play locally using roon.

At $20 per month to store files in the cloud I think Tidal is a better option.

Unless you are a fan of Metallica or Taylor Swift, have a carefully curated Jazz or Classical collection and/or own any high-res music.

I actually think Vox Loop is an interesting idea, if Vox was on-board.

Roon needs to think about life after Tidal…

@Krutsch,
Maybe I miss something you see here, but, I don’t see how backing up my own files to this cloud solution becomes a replacement for Tidal or any other streaming content provider.

My point was that for the same money to get access to just your own files streamed from Vox Loop you can get 25million titles from Tidal.

Yes, I got that… I don’t think you see my point, however.

Vox doesn’t have an open API. So they would have to implement it first.

I think Roon would be better off offering their own Cloud storage for an additional fee.

That said I’d prefer the ability to access my music from my core and download and it where needed.

How does a cloud backup solution help as a replacement for Tidal ?
