Sveriges Radio P1 Live Radio Playback Issue (ref#TW8AOH)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Hello.
Having trouble getting Sveriges Radio P1 to work under "Live Radio" (Sveriges Radio P2 does work though).

Have tried on a CocktailAudio N25, Nvidia Shield and several Android Smartphones but after a while the message "Playback was interrupted because a track failed to load" appears.

Roon is installed on a Synology DS720+ NAS where I also have tens of thousands of FLAC music files that work flawlessly. The internet is consistently around 500 Mbps for Download and Upload.

Hello @richard.ingelsson , I’ve just run the 320 aac stream for 20 minutes without problems.

You say “after a while” - is that longer than 20 mins?

Don’t see any issues here (in Sweden)?

Streaming to a Bluesound Pulse Soundbar through Roon a.t.m.

Ok, thank you all for your commitment. I’ll test more after work if there’s something wrong in the home network environment.

Or maybe I should settle for listening only to Swedish Radio P2 Classical…

A couple of seconds. The stream never starts/no audio.

P2 uses a flac stream - P1 doesn’t.

I notice you are using a NAS. Are your codecs ok?
Can you play other stations with aac or MP3, e.g.
CJSW (aac)
WRFG (mp3)

If not, then the appendix to Synology DSM7 – RoonOnNAS will help.

Hi.

Yes, I noticed that too (FLAC-stream on P2).

Downloaded the “ffmpeg” from John Van Sickle - FFmpeg Static Builds and put it in the Bin-folder and now everything is working fine! Thanks :musical_score::musical_notes::headphone:
