I found that even if the machine is not connected to any signal cable, static noise can still be heard when plugging in headphones under USB input mode. I also tried testing for grounding issues, but the problem persists. I have asked the agent to ask T+A about the possible reasons, but have not received a reply yet. I suspect this is some kind of design bug with the machine.

Any plans for a DAC8 DSD successor?

Something more affordable for more people, than current line?

The DAC200 is the “official” successor of the DAC8DSD - but of course higher quality at a higher price…
