T+A DAC 8 DSD roon ready. What does that mean [Answered - Roon Tested not Roon Ready]

I have an understanding question regarding T + A DAC 8 DSD and the Roon ready status. I do not understand what it is supposed to do. It is a pure DAC. He can not play music because he is not a streaming DAC. So the device can not be a roon endpoint (as I understand it). What does Roon ready mean for this device (the same goes for the Mytec Brooklyn Plus, for example). Can someone please explain this to me?

As far as I know, neither of those DACs are Roon Ready as that designation means they are running RAAT and can be seen as a network endpoint. See the following: https://kb.roonlabs.com/Roon_partner_programs

I think that they are both Roon Tested DACs which is a different status. Where did you see that they were “Roon Ready”.

It says so on the T&A website.

Aha… a difference between “ready” and “tested”. Thats something new to me. Hmm… But you are right!
