I really like The Beatles. I play something from them around once a month, I think. Such an innovative and explosive band. That said, I am so very glad that there is musical life after The Beatles. And if younger music fans don’t include The Beatles in their rotations, it doesn’t bother me at all. I understand that listening to the foundations of pop and rock isn’t necessary, as the latter half of the twentieth century and first two decades of the twenty-first century are the equivalent of a Cambrian explosion for popular music and its infinity of subgenres. There is something for everyone, and The Beatles are there if you want them. They aren’t going away.
