I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, works without any problem.
Be careful with smaller Android tablets, though - at some point, only portait mode will be available (depends on the number of display pixels, I think).

Hi I’d like to set my Lenovo tablet up to display in tablet landscape, rather than phone portrait, mode but am apprehensive in compromising it’s usability for other apps by modifying it’s settings.
