Also very partial to the transparent look but I also really like the audiophile side of it especially where they include a Shibata stylus for the cartridge which is about as good as it gets!

I would be tempted if it was direct drive. I love their cartridges though.

My good old Pro-Ject 2Xperience Acryl with the beautiful Gold Note Boboli High Output MC will still have to suffice. I wouldn’t buy the Audio-Technica just on spec. But - it looks great… And it certainly doesn’t sound bad either.

New arrival - the 2022 Giles Martin remix.
Unfortunately, my TT is packed up whilst house renovations are under way. It’s going to be a while until I hear it. Fortunately Qobuz has at least allowed assessment of the release - and it is rather well done.

I will have a look, I have all the Cure albums up to staring at the sea on CD (and then the next two or 3 as well), but only sure I have one album on vinyl.
I have started to catalog and tag them on Roon but I keep buying more so I am not getting through that many. I might have a listening session tonight (Boys don’t cry on vinyl)
