[Ticket in] B1456 - Focus Filter Gives Misleading Message

I had begun to think that the Filter function in Focus was broken, because it first reports “nothing found” before finally coming up with matches. For example:

Here’s my Composer list:

I filter on a Composer (in this case “Beethoven”, but any valid string will do), and immediately get this:

At first I thought it was broken, but about 6-10 seconds later, I get the result:

Is it possible to avoid getting the misleading message except in cases where it is valid?
