This is the same issue that I am having.
Yes. It is only Tidal as that is the only service I have hooked up.
I would add that it isn’t just my playlists but also my tracks. So, tracks I have liked/starred in Tidal, which used to come into “my tracks” on Roon are not. I am missing like 150 songs from 2023 alone (only 1 in my list of tracks with “date added” of year 2023). Missing some from others years older and newer as well.
Worth mentioning is this is after a test on 2.52 (build 1538) Production
Hello, I have just updated to Roon version 2.51 build 1533. This has resulted in me losing about half or more of my Tidal tracks. There does not seem to be an obvious reason why some are there and some aren’t. Many recent ones I added are missing, but not all. These aren’t new releases.
If I look in the Library Maintenance section of settings, it shows 1210 deleted files deleted via Roon that I did not delete. All of my playlist is still in Tidal if I go directly into the Tidal app.
The latest update from earlier today is 2.52 (build 1538).
ok. still very buggy after the update too. Removed tracks appear again, improve quality don’t update playlists, etc. you’re having a big issues with Tidal API…, its been more than a month where all the updates on playlists are useless, a complete waste of time and money.
Me and probably I speak for many just want it to work fine and in easy ways, can’t you just be more like Foobar, don’t you miss how easy it was to organize music and move things around?
The latest update hasn’t solved this issue either.
I have lost about 4500. I’m not even sure what I lost, which is the worst part.
I was unaware of this issue until I upgraded to the newest version earlier today. Now a large portion of my Tidal collection has disappeared in Roon, and I found my way to this thread trying to figure out what happened…..
What a mess! It looks like the community waited well over a month for a fix release that didn’t work.
Need to get on top of this Roon support. Without working Tidal integration your product is seriously compromised.
Highly disappointing.
Long wait for a fix, version 2.52 (Build 1538) - No Improvements.
- Roon not syncing to Tidal (I have 2,200 tracks)
- Roon only shows 80 tracks
- Tried restoring from old backups. But, Roon would delete all tracks
- Roon would keep the exact same 80 tracks
- Any newly added tracks through Tidal, Roon still won’t sync
Roon is now paperweight. So frustrating.
I don’t seem to have lost anything with 2.52, but Tidal playlists still not syncing to Roon.
I tried:
- logging out of Tidal and logging back in (Roon ‘Services’ tab in ‘Settings’)
- removing the Playlist in Tidal and re-adding.
Back to the drawing board, team.
After the update, things are worst. In my case, before the update the playlist issue had been solved, that is to say, I was able to add songs to the playlists via Roon and having impact on Tidal, and vice versa. Now it is only working from Tidal. If I add songs via Roon, they dissapear. If I delete songs via Roon, they reappear. So now I am as I was one month ago.
Remove duplicates option not working. Songs dissapear and after 10 seconds reappear.

Describe the issue
When attempting to add most Tidal tracks to my Roon library, it immediately removes the track. It does not happen with all tracks, and from what I've experienced, it does not happen at all with albums. I am certain that I have not hit the collection limit on Tidal, and I have tried restarting the server, restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and attempting the fix found in the following support article: https://help.roonlabs.com/portal/en/kb/articles/connectivity-issues-after-updating-to-build-1382
Describe your network setup
The server is running on the same PC as the client; the PC is connected to an Xfinity router via ethernet.
Roon has just pushed out an update. Have you updated?
Although the release notes point to Tidal playlists, it could help.
I had updated earlier, before encountering the issue. I also checked a few times afterwards to make sure everything was up to date.
Hello @seo.owens06
We’ve discussed this with our senior QA and development teams. The team is investigating some possibilities here and, as soon as that investigation is complete, we’ll be sure to follow up ASAP.
You have our apologies for the trouble here, and we’ve greatly appreciated your patience as we continue investigating this tricky issue. We’ll be in touch as soon as we can.
New user here and I’m having the same Tidal issues as others. I have about 1500 songs in my Tidal list but only 179 showing up in Roon. Looks like there isn’t a fix yet?
Hi @lmgc,
Thanks for letting us know about the Qobuz test and for trying out the troubleshooting steps. You are welcome to join the Early access program if you wish. You can read this article to find out more. We’ll continue investigating your sync issue and let you know when we know more.
After software update, the connection to Tidal remains broken. Less than half of the 4700 songs I have added to my collection in Tidal show up in the list of tracks, albums, and artists in Roon. Even tried a complete reinstall of Roon Server. Extremely frustrating. Paying for an almost useless service.
Thank you Daniel. I was able to access the Early access version through this link. Unfortunately in the current version there is still the problem of synchronization with Tidal. I hope you can fix it soon. Thank you very much for your help.
