Tidal login refused

Roon refuses login to Tidal. Is this related to Tidal changing its subscription rates?

I doubt it, I logged out of tidal in Roon earlier and logged straight back in.
I would reset your tidal credentials.

Do you have a paid Tidal subscription? (Tidal do not allow 3rd party apps to connect to trial accounts, it’s tripped a few people up).

Assuming it’s paid, then I suggest rebooting the Roon Server and trying again.

Yes, I have an active Tidal account. I can log into it and use the desktop program just fine.
And I do NOT know how to reboot the server. I did download and reinstall Roon, which didn’t help.

Shutdown / power off the machine that Roon Server is running on.
Then power it back up again.

I had a slight issue logging into Tidal not only through Roon but the Tidal app on my Mac Mini. It seems to only be a brief issue. I suspect Tidal is tweaking things a bit on their side of the house.

I have done that, several times. Still nothing.
I also tried logging off the server with the app on. Now Roon won’t let me sign back on at all. The app is right now dead to me. It puts me into a perpetual login loop.

I wondered if the Roon problem is happening as it coincides with Tidal changing their fee structure, but in any case I have no problem logging into the Tidal app itself.

And the fourth shutdown was the charm. All is well now.
