TIDAL starts playing and then skips to the next title on the playlist only to continue w/o showing any error. It is only Tidal, music from my server played through any of my endpoints be it wired or wireless is not affected. Network performance is out of the question, low latency with the 250/50 Mbits/s connection. Pretty annoying and going on for a few days now. Any thoughts?
Mine was doing the same last weekend, but only seemed to be on 24:96, 16/44 was OK
before then hi res was fine, and I can stream 24/96 to my KEF LS50W wirelessly fine
Saw that too after the last update. It was gone after a while. I did reset my whole setup including all network components. If you work with WiFi that could be the reason for this issues.
I love using Roon and purchased lifetime for that reason. The biggest weakness in the Roon ecosystem is the lacking reliability of streaming via WiFi. Everybody tells us, that the only solution is to go wired. That’s poor advice and I would expect Roon to improve their protocol for more stable connections.
I am aware of the WiFi issues and this is not the problem in my case as Roon plays nicely from the server to any endpoint.
