Roon shows that Tidal is still playing MQA which is strange.

It’s not strange at all. Tidal is a long way away from replacing all their MQA with high resolution flac. I still have 541 Tidal MQA albums in my Roon library.

Sorry for being a bit sarcastic, but these zombie MQA tracks resurface regularly long after the format has been declared dead, Tidal supposedly removing them and MQA Ltd. going into bankruptcy.
Quite a lot of CD quality albums still show up as MQA here. Tidal has probably just disabled/removed the MQA decoder in their own app to make it appear that all MQA is gone.
A point of clarification, but please keep this thread on topic. MQA was aquired by Lenbrook in 2023, and is now known as Wave Realisations.
