Tommy Super Deluxe Edition (HDTracks)

The HDTracks release of The Who’s Tommy Super Deluxe Edition is not recognized at all. No tracks or albums match.

This is my second HDTracks download that isn’t recognized by Roon. Where is Roon getting its metadata?

Mainly from allmusic.com if it is listed there post a link to it, so that @Mike can pick it up.

Have you tried to edit the album and try to (Re) Identify it? There are 23 versions available. Click the arrows under the album cover when identifying. I think you might find version number 7 and 14 might work.

I guess I don’t understand what you’re saying to do. I click “Identify Album” and it gives me six suggestions, not 23. There are no arrows under the album art.

Can you provide a screenshot?

Select Tommy from this screen.

Then it will bring you to this screen.

Due to regional restrictions, I can’t see the track listing on HDTracks website.

Wow, thank you! I never noticed those arrows. Maybe UI feedback to make them more obvious?

Anyway, i got it down to 21/70 being unidentified, but none of the 23 options fit exactly, which is still weird.

There’s lots of stuff like this in Roon. Have fun exploring.

Maybe try going to Allmusic here and select releases.

See if your version matches any of the releases here. If not, then Allmusic hasn’t updated your version.

It’s this one: http://www.allmusic.com/album/release/tommy-remastered-2013-super-deluxe-edition-mr0004035426

Ah, if it’s the 3 disc set, then you want #14 of 23.

If the songs don’t match up quite right, because of title or time, you can move the tracks on the right up and down.
