Transfer of Roon account from old computer to new Computer

Hello Roon Community,

I have purchased a new laptop and would like to transfer my license from one computer to new computer. What do I need to do?

Also I have tried just unauthorizing the old computer and starting fresh with Roon on the new computer but Roon will not let me set up Roon server on my new computer?

Thoughts?

If you want to transfer your Roon database and not just the license:

Install Roon server and Roon client on your new computer and connect to the same network as the old computer. Open Roon on the old computer and go to Settings - General - Disconnect. You should be able to unauthorize the old computer and then authorized the new computer.

Jim, Thanks. Unfortunately the problem is that my new laptop is running a Snapdragon Xelite 12 processor. So not compatible with Roon. Thanks for your help

Can you return it and get something that will work with Roon?
