Turning off spdif out?

Hi,

I thought that, some time ago, when stopping the roon playback, the spdif out would turn off (and in turn that turning off my speakers). It seems like that is not happening anymore… Only after a reboot the spdif output is off. Once I play something, the spdif is “stuck on”. Was this behavior changed? Or am I only imagining that this was different before?

(I am using a hifiberry Digi+ pro)

This has changed. See the other topic about it.

There will be a switch to toggle this in the next release.
