Hi Paul,

Yes 10 days, staying in Funchal just south of the Cathedral.

A long over holiday (parental support made it difficult to get away till now).

This time of year we get our share of big box store boxes. Tootsie likes them

This is ‘Baker’ …our name, but not our cat. He pops in once or twice a day and sometimes sleeps on the couch! Life is good :grinning:

P.S. We call him Baker, because he’s ginger :slightly_smiling_face:

Indeed. It’s weird, in that we still have a cat flap, although we don’t have a cat anymore. 25 years in this house and 15 cats have enjoyed our hospitality…all strays. Graham was our last stray, he turned up three years ago, and he was diagnosed with feline enteritis immediately. he was with us for two years before he passed, I would like to think that he enjoyed his time with us. So yeah, cat Hotel…all welcome :slightly_smiling_face:

“But dad… The tree attacked me” :joy_cat:

Animals sure have ways to pretend to be innocent.

They were born Sept 6th 2019 and have been like sister ever since. Carly is very protective of Ava. This is them on my lap and right hip where they will stay all day, quite literally for 6hours if I don’t move. Carly knows when I am hurting and need to move my legs and she maneuvers around my legs ubtil I resettle. Ava does noting but occasionally does a silent but deadly fart.

Does he enjoy travelling in the car? Stan was a nightmare for quite a few months. Hated getting in the car and whined incessantly when he was in there. Now he loves it. Manages 7-8 hour trips to Scotland (with a few stops along the way) without issue.

He is great in the car. He is still too small to jump in but he chills and usually sleeps. With all the travel back to the old house for cleaning out etc. it would be a nightmare if he wasn’t good.

Is he secured in some way?

Oh yes. A strap goes into the seatbelt and he has less than 2 feet of strap so he cannot get up front. Very important to keep him secured.
