They, dogs, occasionally kill humans however, cats just scratch, wreck furniture & frequently get in fights to keep the local vets happy & “owners” poor…
It’s that time of year…lol.
This morning we found all four cats on our bed even though they have their “differences” at times.
I guess the freezing temperature outside united then.
Well, Louis is the Chairman of the Family Board and apparently the brother of Bob. (Is especially fond of King Crimson).
C’mon Dr Scale…you gotta tell us this cute little guy’s name…A Schnauzer I presume?
What a cutie pie…
Dexter was a Grand National Champion in 2013. He is now deaf and almost blind and approaching his expiration date. The kindest, gentlest, sweetest boy. He lives in SC.
As you know, the losses are painful…sadly inevitable.
…and growing by the looks of it.
Hi @Mike_O_Neill. We didn’t have a Beagle, but good friends of ours did. Their local Park, near Reading (UK), had a large fishing lake and Daisy, their Beagle, was a past mistress at pinching sandwiches from the local fishermen! She gained quite a reputation in the area, as well as a few uncomplimentary nicknames . She was totally uncontrollable, and would disappear for hours on the track of non existent rabbits . I believe that Beagles have a reputation for being difficult unless, of course given access to large doses of crisps .
Dexter! What a good looking dog! Thanks!
So fast. Gained 6lbs. In 20 days and up to 41. The scary part is that I just noticed he has his adult teeth! I swear it was only a week ago he had shark teeth still.
To have ONE beagle is hard , I have had 3 , 2 at one time, I think insanity is the word.
I suppose when you breed a dog to be independent and hunt you must expect it . Tess was just the same. She would get within 200 m of the car park after a long walk and then do a runner in the opposite direction. Fortunately - for her - the area we walked them in was just a big forest so she was safe. The first few time we spent ages trying to entice her to give herself up. Then it became, run away, a pint at the nearby pub, back to the car park, jump in the car and home. Not sure who was training who.
Alfie listening intently to jazz. He prefers Mozart horn concertos (gets close to the speakers), but is getting into jazz more. He is big and doesn’t fit everywhere. And some light reading for him nearby.
Beagles are wonderful dogs, very appealing but very boisterous.
Such a handsome boy.Not all dogs are frightened of FW. One of ours is very. WE were watching an action film the other evening and I had to give her valium to calm her down. Poor girl. Evenutally I changed th setting on the amp to 5.1 which was less crash bang wallop. That helped. When she first started panting and looking worried I thought maybe she was sick and it scared me until I realized she got worse with each loud part on film. She was on. my lap. The othe dogs moved away from subs and the Dax took no notice at all.
