So I own a U1 Mini with SBooster. Is there any good reason to get rid of that and get a U2 Mini (without an SBooster for warranty reasons , at least for awhile) ? What would I really be getting, any new features etc ? I don’t see it, other than wanting to buy something 
Primarily some reviewers and users who did the upgrade reported an improvement in sound quality. However, if you were using a third party LPS then switch back to the factory SMPS, then the result is hard to say.
Other than Lumin native upsampling to DSD256 (which is irrelevant if you use Roon), there is no other feature difference at this moment except U2 Mini supports KKBOX service natively (which again is irrelevant if you use Roon KKBOX). However, there may be another major feature difference in the future.
