UMG Watermark, true or false?

UMG have a spotty history with streaming and downloads. Early on, presumably due to this all being about “songs” and not albums, classical albums had rapid fade-in and fade-out applied to each track - ruining, for example, the Kurt Maur/Jessye Norman Ariadne air Naxos on Philips among others from both Passionato (remember them?) and the also-defunct Deutsche Grammophon download store. I don’t stream from Tidal (only Apple Music) but I’ve not noticed any issues with Qobuz, Highresaudio or Presto Music downloads.
