Unable to stream Virgin Radio due to track load failure (ref#2H05AF)

Describe the issue

Having been able to stream virgin radio normally for as long as i can remember. I now get a message saying track failed to load. This occures even after i have tebooted the system mutliple times.

Hmm, Roon doesn’t like the https stream for some reason, I’ve changed it to http instead. Try now.

Hi Brian,
Another problem with this that’s strange.

It looks like I am streaming virgin radio through roon. But it actually sounds like the station talk sport is playing.

Please would you look into this?

One more thing it’s worth noting - Virgin radio does stream correctly through Sonos app.

I’m away from home at the moment so can’t check properly, but I can see that the stream Roon uses is correct
Virgin Radio UK. http://radio.virginradio.co.uk/stream

Has your DNS cache got corrupted? Try rebooting your server.

Hi there. I have rebooted the roon nucleus but still have the same problem. Anything else you can change your end or I should try my end? Thanks. Anish.

Another user is seeing a similar issue. That’s on the main Support thread and I have linked this thread there.
