I was recently on a Roon approved vendor’s forum: WiiM.
WiiM’s Create New Topic entry form looks very much like the Roon Community’s.
However the WiiM form had a Undo Typing button (Icon). I found that ability to be quite helpful; so much so, that I immediately missed it when I came here after visiting WiiM.
It would be great if an Undo Typing option could be incorporated into Roon’s Create Topic form!!
Undue or Undo? Can you make a screenshot? What does it do that the backspace key on the keyboard doesn’t?
Yes undo, not undue, thanks for the correction. I’ve edited accordingly.
For example, if you cut and move a paragraph, placing it and then realize you don’t want it there, hit undo and start over. For that, keystrokes, typing or cut and past would do the same thing, but with more effort & manipulation. More importantly however, if you delete something, hit undo and presto, its back. I would presume you have used the undo icon on an App like Word, Excel et al., and have recognized its advantages.

You can use keyboard shortcuts on the posting box:
Cut is CTRL/Cmd-X, copy C, paste V. Equivalent touch options exist
I just returned to the WiiM forum. Their reply box does contain an undo button. But actually the box isn’t similar to Roon’s forum. I must have been elsewhere and saw the similarity.
If the two forums were similar, I thought the undo addition may be an easy add. Hence, my suggestion. Now that isn’t the case, my suggestion is probably superfluous.
