My guess is no, though thats not based on anything other than things get pushed back.
Though I believe it will happen.

No. Media browsing is on the software roadmap but I do not believe it is a priority.
Thanks for the replies.
Remote 2/3
“We have been expanding our team on the software side, so we can pick up a faster pace. A new member of our team has been working on polishing our API wrapper libraries and has already started going through the integrations to fix bugs and add features. First integration that is getting an update is Roon, soon to be followed by the rest.”
Here I use my Linn remote, nothing fancy but it does the job!
Has there been an update on the Roon integration (especially browsing) recently? Excited to give the Remote 3 a try, being able to keep my phone out of the listening space would be a nice benefit.
I too would love to know details of using remote 3 with roon if anybody has any experience?
When I get remote 3 myself I will post pictures and updates on the experience, likely in a mew thread.
The Roon integration was last updated in May but it was mainly an update of the underlying code and only minor functionality changes. You can see the currently playing song/album on the remote but browsing is not yet supported.
I am using the remote with a Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 and Roon. Transport controls (pause, play etc.) are supported and the currently playing song/album can be shown on the display. Browsing is not yet supported.
Sre you using remote 2 or 3? Is it snappy and quick to respond from sleep?
I am using the R3. Fortunately, re-connect time is quick (about 1s from sleep) for me. Several users have reported issues with this, but I find rhe re-connect time acceptable in my setup. The R2 had the option to keep wifi connected during sleep and I hope they will introduce this feature for the R3 soon.
