Update via Web interface fails; trying SSH. This is the error I get

Running “pacman -Syu” returns:
error: failed retrieving file 'ropieeecontrib-stable.db' from repo-v2.ropieee.org : The requested URL returned error: 404

error: failed to update ropieeecontrib-stable (unexpected error)

This is a raspberry pi 2 as part of Mano-streamer sold by Magna Hifi. Maybe some of the configurations done by the very are blocking the update. Maybe there is a good reason for it. Please advise. Thanks @spockfish

We can try some manual stuff, but it could end up with a reflash…

Anyhow, run the following:

rm /etc/pacman.d/ropieee-contrib
touch /etc/pacman.d/ropieee-contrib
pacman -Syu

Let me know how it goes.

I suggest a reflash.

I tried the update. I seems to have worked. The web interface also asked me if I wanted to update to a newer version. That seemed to work. Thanks. Reflash postponed for now! :wink:
