UPnP / DLNA Endpoint Output Support in Roon ARC

Allow Roon ARC to discover and stream directly to local UPnP/DLNA renderers (streamers, network players, connected speakers) when the mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Proposed Solution & Features

1. Local Network Discovery in ARC: Implement a local network scan option within Roon ARC to identify active UPnP/DLNA renderers when connected to Wi-Fi like mConnect does.

2. Direct UPnP Output Engine: Enable bit-perfect audio streaming from ARC to selected UPnP endpoints on the local network.

3. Playback Control: Full playback, transport, and volume control through the ARC interface while streaming to a UPnP device.

I take it you are aware that DLNA/UPnP isa dirty word in Roon speak , from the onset they wrote their own transport RAAT specifically to avoid using DLNA

Things may have changed BUT >>>

Yes but for the purposes of ARC it makes more sense.
