Using CD Rips in Apple Music

Can anyone tell me if its possible?

I use Roon at home, obviously, but I stream when on the move, and for that I choose apple music. My question is - most streaming services have gaps, and on apple music I understand I can get it to play a CD rip but I am not sure how. Can anyone enlighten me?

Sync your rip to your phone using iTunes.

Roon might get mobile remote and/or local playback someday, just don’t hold your breath waiting for it.
