If your circumstances have changed, there’s never been a better time to look into Diretta. The protocol has undergone a major revision since last year, and not much hardware is required to add it to an existing Roon system. Just a pair of RPi4 or 5 computers, a USB to Ethernet adapter, and a CAT6 Ethernet cable will get you going. The results are well worth the effort.
