I have got a rough undertsanding of REW and have managed to create a filter and load it into Roon which has improved the sound but I’m stuck on the fine tuning options.
When it comes to the EQ section I’m not sure what I should be selecting, at the moment I have chosen full range speakers and left the rest at default.
I guess the target settings need to be based on the speakers I have?
I selected Generic.
As I understand, these choices adapt the generated filters to the limitations of various devices. Roon doesn’t have those.
For speakers you can happily use None, and EQ should be generic if you plan to use Roon to do the DSP for you.
