I have three Sonos Connects. In the old days, only one was required to be connected to the router. I’m assuming this is still true. My question is, with Roon, would it be preferable to connect all three Connects with Cat-6 ethernet to the same router as the Roon Core is locarted? Or is it “just as good” to connect wirelessly between the Connects so long as one is wired to the core?
Wired is always preferred, but not necessary.
If you search the forum you’ll see proof of people using Roon to Sonos with no wired connections at all, so a fully wireless Sonos setup is possible. Neadless to say maybe, but they have to be on the same network, that’s all
