I would really appreciate if the volume leveling could be set to “only for playlist” or if there would be a feature where I can set this within a playlist. Reason is, that I normally don’t like it, for example listening to an album or switching manually within my collection, but during the playback of a playlist it is very useful. Specifically if the playlist is mixed from sources like Tidal, local files…
If you set it to „Auto“, it levels the volume for individual tracks in playlists but doesn’t change the volume between tracks when playing an album.
(Though I think it still does if you pick individual tracks manually - which is a bit like playing a playlist, though)
You posted this in Uncategorized but should post a feature request in Feedback > Feature Suggestions for Roon Labs to see it - if there isn’t one already that you can vote for.
I’m aware of the auto settings, but it doesn’t work for me as I like to have it as it levels (and send the signal through processing) more or less always, except the individual tracks within an album. I would like to have it always off except within playlists or even better as a playlist specific setting, meaning I can select it per playlist to have it on or off.
Then that’s a Feedback > Feature Suggestions
Topic title adjusted and moved to Feedback > Feature Suggestions .
@Sascha_Held you may wish to place your vote for this suggestion.
Which one? Link doesn’t send me to a voting
Done. THANKS!
