WBLS radio station does not load

Manually adding WBLS stations from all major players does not load. Tried tunein link,iheartradio and radio.net

Getting “Playback interrupted failed to load”

This is only occurring with this particular URL and none other.

Please help!

I’ve had a look and the station appears to be offline at the moment - it doesn’t even play for me on their website.

Here are the two streams I’ve found - I will add to the main database once it is back online

Hi @michael_mack, I have now added ther station to Roon, so please give it a test for me (search for WBLS).

Please note that it is geo-restricted to US listeners only.

Thank you so much a thousand times Nick … WBLS is working great.

Question I live in new york city and have a lot of more radio stations in new york city that I want to add to Roon, where do you go on how to add and find the right URL so I can add the radio station in Roon?

Any help would be appreciated taking the time out for me to help me.

Take it easy on me not good at all this computer stuff 60 years old so the easy way if possible I LOVE THIS ROON BEST EVER THANKS FOR HEARING ME LOVE

Thanks Michael. If you provide a list of stations and some info on them, the radio curators can add them to Roon for everyone to enjoy.

However, should you wish to add them for just your personal use, then the ‘My Live Radio’ option is the way to do this. Have a read of the following help article to find out how to do it - https://help.roonlabs.com/portal/en/kb/articles/live-radio

Oh, and I would always search for the station first as it may already be there.

In terms of tracking down the streaming URLs, we tend to start with https://www.radio-browser.info/ and fmstream, but this doesn’t always find a stream Roon can use.

After that, things can get harder, so if you can’t find a stream by this point, I suggest asking on the #live-radio section of the forum.

Hi nick or anybody that can help me need you to add 1010 wins radio station new york city. I was able to add some other stations but not 1010 wins

Hello @michael_mack , I’ve added 1010 WINS for you. US only.

The straightforward streams have a couple of redirects in them which Roon doesn’t like for some reason. I added the redirected streams.
