Web Authentication timeout seems a little too short

I have Web Authentication enabled, and it seems like the session timeout is rather short.

i.e. I enter my password, and use the web interface. I then leave it for a while. When I return, I’ve been logged out. The logout delay seems extremely short, although I’ve not timed it.

It would be nice, please, were there a way to increase (or even disable) the timeout that is logging me out.

Depends on what you mean with ‘extremely short’ :wink: it’s 10 minutes btw.

just out of curiosity…how do you use Ropieee? I connect to the web interface only to check for updates… maybe I’m missing something

Yes, I connect at least twice per listening session.

Firstly to check for updates, and then again at the end, to glance at the uptime, then shutdown the Pi, before powering off.

Although I agree it’s hardly needed here, I always choose a generated password for my devices, as good practice, and so have to go to my password store to get in each time.
