A certain guy named Dr. Amar Bose has made a fortune thanks to this idea… some 55 years ago.

I used to love his writing in ‘Hi-Fi Answers’, when it was still published in the mid-80’s. He was known for having an absolutely massive vinyl collection then.
Here’s a recent interview with him. He still writes occasionally for the hi-fi rags.
Peter Belt died a year before this interview.
Does bits of foil hanging on lampshades ring any bells?
