What are your favorite songs for a LOT of bass?

In early Stereophile, they mentioned an album on London which had below 30Hz. It was on London CS6609. I was able to find a copy back then and have recently found it in the collection.

Yes, this is great - especially the second song “Differently”.

Lots of bass… too much for some with acoustic problems in your room:

…about this?!

Great stuff

If you want to experience a recording of a symphony orchestra with as close to the real thing as possible low end spectrum and dynamics, cue up the following (or any other of Dudamel’s Mahler symphonies on Qobuz, for that matter):

Mahler: Symphony No. 9 Los Angeles Philharmonic (2013), Gustavo Dudamel

Pet Shop Boys: Everybody will Dance (Superchumbo remix)

Not the fattest bass but pretty hard beat.

(Edit: Mixed up the tracks)

Absolutely love this album and has some bone rattling bass tricks throughout - some fascinating music, lyrics and mixing skills - one long smile
