In the magazine Guitar Gods, there are many discussions of instruments chosen. The choices almost always had to do with what the artist felt was playable (and/or affordable) and even Joe Bonomassa’s amazing collection does not represent what he feels plays the best. While many can afford anything, they really prefer very few and specific instruments.
