What does Roon doing after it imports music?

I just added about 3TB of music to my library and the import did not take all that long but the server (Sonic Transporter i5) is still kicking up a storm and the external (spinning) drive is working.

Is there some sort of fingerprinting going on or something.?

Hi,

After the initial ingestion Roon will be performing Audio_Analysis.

I knew it was doing something… 65260 tracks will take a while!

In settings you can increase the resources available to audio analysis… which can help significantly.
