Does this enable control by some other hardware? I was hoping to get a full Roon UI on the display, but I guess I was confused?
The remote control enables handheld remotes, such as the OSMC (https://osmc.tv/store/product/osmc-remote-control/).
The Raspberry Pi 7” Display also enables basic controls, like Play, Pause, Forward, and Back. It is not a full replacement for the Roon application on a tablet.
