What is your most played track? Most played album?

Like the title says, what is your most played track and most played album?

According to my Track Focus search, this is my most played track with 92 plays so far

And by coincidence, my most played album (it doesn’t say how many plays)

What can I say, I love me some ABBA.:+1:

No Excuse

In 1971 I was at university 21 yrs old and boogying at my best . This was one of the all time albums . I noticed as I copied it that it had no title

It went along with Grateful Dead - American Beauty which my hall mates wouldn’t lend me as I wouldn’t understand it as I didn’t smoke ****

Ah nostalgia :smiling_face_with_horns:

I took a quick listen to the Layla track. I do recognize it, but it’s not really my type of music (same with Grateful Dead).

Layla and the story behind it…Patti Boyd and Duane Allman on slide guitar. Arguably one of the landmarks of rock history.

Indeed as I say it still gets a monthly or so outing

A shame D&D’s didn’t go on , maybe not it wouldn’t be such a classic if there Layla ii etc

Layla the track is probably EC’s best selling track. The album is something else.

The history of my purchase , my Aunt gave me some money for my 21st , no holds barred , I bought a record I really wanted . My mum went berserk, "spending Aunty Ruth’s money on a record, you will not listen to it 2 weeks time " How wrong she was 50 yrs later and still going !!

My recall is that Stairway to Heaven was the most requested non-single. Most “pleasant” album, to us, was Tea for the Tillerman (Cat Stevens).

I was surprised, 41 plays! It’s short, sweet, loud and Jeff Beck!
